【UNギャラリー】「希望と機会の大地 飛躍するアフリカ」

様々な問題から立ち上がり、平和を望み、急速に成長しているアフリカをご存知ですか？ 今アフリカは国際社会の支援を受け、自ら大きく飛躍しようとしています。
このたび彼らが今日まで築き上げてきた道、その真実を伝える写真展「希望と機会の大地 飛躍するアフリカ」を開催します。第4回アフリカ開発会議（TICAD IV）に先駆けて、多くの方たちに“元気なアフリカ”を知っていただくことを目的としています。
国連の機関と国際協力機構（JICA）が行うアフリカ開発支援には様々な活動があります。現場で活躍する日本人の姿や現地の生き生きとした暮らしぶりを、著名な写真家の方たちのレンズを通して紹介する、JICA、国連広報センター（UNIC）の共催でお送りする自信作です。

Do you know the “Vibrant Africa” overcoming difficulties, working for peace and making rapid and dynamic growth? Africa is in stride, the international community is coming together.
This exhibition is held ahead of TICAD Ⅳ with an aim to make known to as wide an audience as possible about “Vibrant Africa.”
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) proudly present this photo exhibition which introduces the everyday life of the African people and the activities being carried out in partnerships, through the lens of prominent photographers.
