東北地方太平洋沖地震と津波に関する駐日国連諸機関からの声明

今月11日に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震と津波による被害とその影響を目の当たりにし、駐日国連諸機関の代表および職員は、日本の方々に対して、そして何より、この大規模な災害の被災者の方々に対して心よりお見舞いを申し上げます。
私たちは、日本の方々と常に共にあり、国連システムを通じ、持ちうるすべての専門的技術・知識を備えて皆さんを支援する用意があることを表明いたします。

As we continue to experience the aftereffects of the earthquake and tsunami here in Japan, we, the representatives and staff of United Nations Agencies and Entities in Japan would like to offer our deepest condolences and sympathies to the people of Japan, especially those who have been affected by this epic tragedy.
We would like to express our solidarity with the people of Japan and stand ready to assist with the expertise available throughout the UN system.
