世界環境デー・イベント
「世界環境デー写真展」開催のお知らせ

6月5日は世界環境デーです。国際連合環境計画　国際環境技術センター（UNEP IETC）は、2004年のテーマ『私たちの選択 −海は死ぬのか、生きるのか−』に沿って「海洋と流域の連鎖」と題した写真展を滋賀県草津市で開催します。より多くの皆さんにご参加いただくため、国連広報センターは日本テレビと共催で、同写真展を東京サテライト会場でも開催します。

会　期： 2004年6月3日（木）〜6日（日）
時　間： 午前10時〜午後8時（最終日は午後5時まで）
会　場： 日本テレビPLAZA1階　クリスタルホール
主　催： 国連環境計画　国際環境技術センター、国連広報センター、日本テレビ放送網株式会社
内　容： 海・海洋等の環境写真、Focus on Your World 1999-2000（第3回世界環境フォトコンテスト）受賞作品展示、国連事務総長ビデオ･メッセージ上映、ほか。

World Environment Day 2004
- UNEP Photo Exhibition -

Every year, 5 June is celebrated as the World Environment Day. United Nations Environment Programme's International Environment Technology Centre (UNEP IETC) will organize a photo exhibition entitled "Seas Oceans and Watershed Links" in Shiga Prefecture. This year's theme is "Wanted! Seas and Oceans: Dead or Alive." In Tokyo, United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) will organize a satellite exhibition together with the Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV) as follows:

Date: Thursday 3 June - Sunday 6 June 2004
Hours: 10 am - 8 pm (Will be closed at 5 pm on the final day)
Venue: Crystal Hall, 1st floor of the Nippon TV PLAZA
Organizers: UNEP IETC, UNIC, NTV
Contents: Photos on oceans and seas and oceans, Award-winning photos from the UNEP
International Photographic Competition on the Environment 1999-2000, and
UN Secretary-General's video message
