コフィー・アナン国連事務総長、
イラクで拘束されている３名の日本人の解放を求める

以下の声明は4月8日、アナン事務総長の報道官によって発表されました。

アナン事務総長は、イラクの武装勢力によって拘束されたと伝えられる3名の日本人が
命を脅かされている事態を深く憂慮しています。

事務総長は、3人をはじめ、紛争の政治目的によって拘束されているとみられる罪のない
一般市民をすべて解放するよう強く要請しています。

Secretary-General calls for release of Japanese nationals held hostage in Iraq

The following statement was issued today (on 8 April) by the Spokesman for Secretary-General Kofi Annan:

The Secretary-General is deeply concerned about the threats to the lives of three Japanese nationals who are reportedly held hostage by Iraqi militants.

The Secretary-General calls for the release of these three persons and all other innocent civilians who may have been abducted for political ends in the conflict.
